Rocca Massima, Flying in the Sky – The Flight of the Angel

Why not try a thrilling experience flying on a high security steel cable 2,225 metres long at a high speed of 150 km/h giving you the chance to admire a unique view of the valleys below? It is the longest zipline in the world and it was opened in 2014.

This zipline consists of a steel cable supported by two pillars 2,225 metres long, suspended at a maximum height of 310 metres from the ground that has a drop of 350 metres.
The trip starts at the local medieval Rocca Massima village just a 10 minute drive away from Segni, at an altitude of 730 metres above sea level where the safety policies and procedures are carried out before being connected to the zipline. It is a thrilling experience flying like an eagle admiring the extraordinary view of the Latium coastline, the Alban Hills and the Abruzzo Mountains. The zipflying covers a distance of 2 km at a moderate speed over 110 km/h, and reaches Le Feora district at a height of 380 meters above sea level where there is an attractive olive tree garden.
